Bobby Bakewell: Making Waves from Orlando, Florida
Representing Orlando, Florida, Bobby Bakewell earned his spot in the 2025 Bassmaster Classic by winning the 2024 St. Croix Bassmaster Open at Lake Martin. During the Classic, Bobby showcased his ability to land quality fish, including a notable 7-4 catch on the second day. Despite bringing in five fish over two days and totaling 17-7, Bobby finished 32nd. His performance, highlighted by securing big catches under challenging conditions, underscores his potential and dedication to the sport.
Recent Success at the MLF Toyota Series
Bobby's momentum continued with a remarkable 2nd place finish at the MLF Toyota Series event on the Harris Chain of Lakes. On Day 2, he weighed in an impressive 26 pounds, 9 ounces, including a 9-pound, 11-ounce big fish, propelling him into the top ranks. Bobby's success was attributed to his strategic use of a Carolina rig and a Jerkbait, demonstrating his adaptability and skill in varying conditions.
